Become more competitive in the human resources management field! This course is designed to increase the knowledge, skills, and abilities of human resources employees and managers. The course structure directly correlates to the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI) core factors of the PHR certification exam. Students who complete the course requirements and attend at least 80% of the required hours will receive a nicely framed, professional, HHRS certificate of completion personally signed by Dr. Hillman.
The curriculum for this course has been developed by highly experienced and credentialed adult learning professionals including doctoral level university human resources instructors. The information provided is state-of-the-art and the most current available. The HRCI PHR Test pass rate is just above 50%. Don’t be that “one out of two” who fails it. Learn from a college level professor and nationally recognized HR professional; Dr. Hillman. Students who require a “second chance” at the test may audit a future prep class from HHRS for no charge.
The course is 10 weeks long and totally online so need to rush to face-to-face meetings-be comfortable in your own home. The class meets “live” online once per week for three hours so you can interact and ask questions as needed. This is better for learning retention. You can expect to spend about five hours per week on classwork outside of the live class time. You will have weekly quizzes, required readings, and practice exams. You can log-in to complete your work at any time, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The PHR Test is hard and expensive, so we want you to be confident and prepared for a successful result.
The course covers the main HRCI knowledge requirements: business management and strategy, workplace planning and employment, human resources development, compensation and benefits, employee and labor relations and other pertinent human resources content. There will be several subject matter experts assigned as instructors for the course. The primary instructor is Dr. Donald R. Hillman, MS/MBA/DM, a university human resources management instructor and published academic author. HHRS is a certified continuing education recertification provider for HRCI.
